Why Kellet

Every blocker you’ve tried failed

If it has an off switch or a workaround, it’s not good enough.

The way out

Switch it off

How it usually goes

Most blockers have an off switch, or a session that simply ends.

What Kellet does

Turning off any layer of protection requires a cool-down period you set in advance. You can strengthen your rules instantly, but relaxing them takes time.

The way out

Uninstall it

How it usually goes

Two taps and the blocker was gone, and your willpower along with it.

What Kellet does

You can't simply uninstall Kellet on impulse. Uninstalling Kellet requires its own cool-down period, which you can set longer than other restrictions.

The way out

Open another browser

How it usually goes

The browser extension guarded Chrome, but Firefox was already installed.

What Kellet does

Kellet runs as a Windows service, so it covers every browser on the device, the next one you install, and the browsers built into other apps.

The way out

Find a site the list missed

How it usually goes

A blocklist only knows the sites someone has already reported.

What Kellet does

AI scans the image itself. A site registered this morning is caught the same way as one that has been around for years.

The way out

Stay just short of explicit

How it usually goes

Most blockers only look for nudity, so swimwear, lingerie, feet and fetish content get straight through.

What Kellet does

Kellet lets you decide what explicit means to you. Switch on the narrower categories, from suggestive poses, swimwear and lingerie to feet and foot-fetish content.

The way out

Search for it

How it usually goes

Search engines, social media, and video platforms give you plenty of ways to find content you thought you blocked.

What Kellet does

SafeSearch is forced on Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo, YouTube stays in Restricted Mode, and explicit images in the results are blurred or blocked before they load.

The way out

Use a VPN or a private browser

How it usually goes

A browser with its own VPN carries its traffic straight past a network filter.

What Kellet does

The screen AI checks what is actually on your screen, however it got there, and sends you to the block page or closes the app. You can also block those browsers outright.

The way out

An old hard drive

How it usually goes

Blockers filter what comes in from the internet. Photos and videos already saved on the device never touch the web, so they are ignored completely.

What Kellet does

The screen AI doesn't care where a picture came from. Open a photo or play a video from an old drive, a USB stick or a forgotten folder, and it is caught the moment it appears on screen.

Blocking porn should never depend on willpower. If it were that simple, you wouldn’t be here.

What Kellet blocks

Multiple layers of protection

AI in the browser

Detects explicit images & video

Every image and video is checked as they download. Explicit content is swapped for a blurred copy or blocked completely while the rest of the page loads normally.

AI on screen

Detects on-screen content

Kellet's AI scans your screen as often as every few seconds, detecting explicit content across websites, apps, and videos, even when traditional filters can't see it.

Known sites

Blocks known adult sites

Multiple actively maintained adult lists detect and block explicit domains.

SafeSearch

Forced SafeSearch

Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo always use strict SafeSearch, and YouTube always runs in Restricted Mode.

Search terms

Blocks search terms

Add the words, names and phrases you want stopped. A search containing one is blocked before the results load, on Google, Bing, YouTube, Reddit, X, TikTok and more, including searches made inside sites like Facebook.

Apps & schedules

Apps you choose stay shut

Block a program, give it a daily limit, or hold anything newly installed until you approve it. Scheduled blackouts close everything for the hours you name.

Most blockers stop at the block page. Kellet goes further.

You decide what Kellet does the moment it detects porn, and what happens if you keep going.

  1. Straight away

    Block the page

Swap the page for a block page in your own words, or send the browser somewhere safe.

  2. Straight away

    Close the tab

Shut the tab it was on, straight away. Everything else stays open.

  3. Straight away

    Close the browser

Close every window and every tab. Whatever was on screen is gone.

  4. If you keep going

    Lock the device

Escalations allow you to lock the device when detections pile up. Each lock lasts longer than the last.

How it works

Set it while you’re steady.

Tightening a rule takes effect immediately. Loosening one waits out the delay you chose in calmer waters.

  1. 01

    Install it

Download, sign in, and Kellet starts as a Windows service. Explicit content is blocked from the first minute, in every browser.

  2. 02

    Choose your cool-down

Decide how long any loosening has to wait, and set a longer wait for uninstalling if you like. You pick the number while nothing is pulling at you.

  3. 03

When the urge hits, ask and wait

Kellet takes the request, starts the clock and leaves the block exactly where it is. When the moment has passed, cancel the request in one click.

Want someone else to hold the override?

Invite a spouse, sponsor or friend as an accountability partner. They see your activity, you choose what they can approve or change, and they never pay a penny.

How partners work
Privacy

Nobody sees your activity unless you invite them.

Many accountability tools work by reporting your activity to someone else. Kellet focuses on preventing it in the first place, while keeping your activity history private by default.

  • The AI runs on your PC

Images and the screen are checked by a model running on your own device, not by a cloud service.

  • Just you, by default

No one looking over your shoulder. Your activity history stays in your account, and you decide who gets to see it.

  • A partner, only if you want one

Invite someone you trust to see your activity. You decide what they can manage, and you can revoke their access, straight away or after a delay you choose.

  • Your sensitive data stays private

Kellet is designed to avoid decrypting sensitive traffic, including banking, healthcare, and password managers.

Where we draw the line

Kellet is built for your own devices. There is no covert install and no hidden mode, and it is not a parental control app. On a shared PC, get the agreement of everyone who uses it before you install.

Where it runs

Windows today. Phones and Macs next.

Kellet runs on Windows today. Android and macOS land in Q4 2026, and iPhone and iPad in Q1 2027.

Windows

Live
  • Windows 10 (2004 or later) and Windows 11, 64-bit

  • AI checks the screen too, whatever app or streamed video put it there
  • Blocks apps, locks the device, and runs scheduled blackouts
  • Uninstalling waits out the cool-down, like every other way out

Android

Q4 2026
  • Not out yet. Kellet does not run on Android until then
  • At launch: network filter, content screening, app blocking, device lock
  • Removal will wait out the same cool-down as everywhere else
  • AI on-screen detection too, off until you switch it on

macOS

Q4 2026
  • Not out yet. A Mac is unprotected until it ships
  • At launch: full parity with Windows, including screen detection
  • Your plan and your rules carry over the day it lands

iPhone & iPad

Q1 2027
  • Not out yet. An iPhone is unprotected until it ships
  • At launch: site filtering and schedules, within what iOS allows
  • No on-screen detection at launch: iOS only allows it while you keep a screen recording running
  • No uninstall cool-down, so it will hold less than the desktop app

FAQ

Straight answers.

Can I turn Kellet off when I want to?

Not in the moment. There is no off switch and no pause. You can loosen any rule, but the change waits out the cool-down you set. Making a rule stricter takes effect straight away.

So I can never uninstall it?

You can. It's your PC. Uninstalling is a request that waits out its own cool-down, which you can set longer than the others. If you set no delay, it removes straight away.

Does it work in every browser?

Yes. Kellet is a Windows service, not a browser extension, so it filters the whole PC. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Opera and Opera GX, Vivaldi, Zen, Waterfox, LibreWolf, Floorp, Yandex, Pale Moon, SeaMonkey, Tor Browser and Internet Explorer are all covered, and so is the next one you install. Browsers built into other apps are covered too.

What about a VPN, or a browser with one built in?

The screen AI still sees it. A browser that routes its own traffic, like Opera with its built-in VPN or Tor Browser, can carry it past the network filter. It can't get past on-screen detection, which looks at what is on your screen however it got there. You can also block those browsers outright.

Does it work on my phone?

Not yet. Kellet runs on Windows today. Android and macOS land in Q4 2026, and iPhone and iPad in Q1 2027. Lifetime plans get each one the day it ships.

Does Kellet use AI?

Yes, for the part a blocklist cannot do. Rules only work for sites somebody has already listed, so an AI vision model on your PC looks at the pictures themselves: as the browser downloads them, and on the screen as often as every few seconds, whatever app put them there. It blocks explicit nudity and sexual content from day one. Narrower categories, from suggestive poses and swimwear to lingerie, are yours to switch on, and you choose how sensitive it is. The model runs on your own processor rather than in a cloud service. No detector is perfect, so everything it acts on shows up in your activity for you to check.

Does anyone see what I look at?

No, unless you invite them. Your own activity log lives in your account for you to read. The only way another person sees any of it is if you add them as an accountability partner. They see your activity, you choose what, if anything, they can manage, and you can remove them, straight away or after a delay you choose.

Is Kellet a parental control app?

No. Kellet is for adults who want a guardrail on their own devices.

I share this PC with other people. What does Kellet watch?

On a shared Windows PC, Kellet watches every Windows user account on that computer, not only the one that installed it, unless you turn an account off on the device's page. It runs as a system service, so the browsing and app activity of everyone who signs in to that PC is recorded and reported to the account Kellet is enrolled to, and to any accountability partner on it. Get the agreement of the other people who use the computer before you install it. Kellet is meant for your own accountability, not for watching anyone without their agreement.

What happens when the 14 days are up?

You pick a plan, or protection stops that day. The 14 days start when you add your first device, not when you sign up, and there is no extra window afterwards: blocking runs for the full 14 days and Kellet stops enforcing when the trial ends, until you subscribe. Your rules, your settings, your history and your clean streak stay in your account either way, so coming back later is not starting over.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. We want you to genuinely love Kellet and if you don't, we'll give you your money back within 30 days of your purchase, no questions asked.

Will my antivirus complain about it?

It shouldn't. And we make every reasonable attempt to ensure that it doesn't. Kellet is code-signed, appears in your installed programs and shows itself in the system tray. It never makes any attempt to hide itself because it is not spyware.
