Name and picture
Open Profile from the account menu, top right. Your first and last name are what partners see. A profile picture can be a JPG, PNG, GIF or WEBP up to 25 MB.
Changing your email address
Under Email address, choose Change email address, type the new one and your current password, then choose Send the confirmation link. Nothing changes until you open the link Kellet sends to the new address.
Opening the link brings up a page that says your email address has been updated and shows the new one. The change signs you out everywhere, so choose Sign in on that page when you are ready and use the new address. Your password stays the same, and the old address is told about the change.
If you sign in with Google, your email address is the address of your Google account, and it cannot be changed in Kellet. The Email address card shows it without a button to change it.
Changing your password
Under Password, at least eight characters. Changing it signs out every other device; the one you are using stays signed in.
If you sign in with Google only, there is no Kellet password on the account and this section says so.
Signing in with Google
Under Connected accounts you can connect or disconnect Google. Disconnecting is refused if Google is your only way in, so that you cannot shut yourself out.
If you cannot sign in
Choose Forgot password? on the sign-in page and Kellet emails you a link to set a new one. If you no longer have the email account, write to us from the contact page.
Deleting your account
At the bottom of Profile, under Delete your account, choose Delete my account. The dialog lists what will happen, then asks you to show it is really you: enter your password, or, if you sign in with Google and have no Kellet password, confirm with Google. After five wrong attempts within 15 minutes, it asks you to wait a little before trying again. As soon as you confirm:
- Every device on your account is released, and Kellet can be uninstalled from each one with no wait.
- Any subscription is cancelled, so you are not charged again.
- All of your activity, settings, partners and stored images are deleted permanently.
- Your accountability partners, and anyone you support, are told.
